I picked up The Ren & Stimpy Show: Veediots! back when it came out on the Super Nintendo in 1993, published by THQ. It was one of those licensed platformers that tried to capture the spirit of the cartoon, a common sight on the SNES at the time. The game doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it does throw you right into the show's bizarre world.
You control both Ren and Stimpy, switching between them to use their unique abilities. Ren can attack with a slingshot, while Stimpy relies on his powerful belly flop. The goal is to rescue the lost episodes of the show by navigating through side-scrolling levels, collecting items like rubber walrus noses and avoiding hazards such as explosive farts. The pacing is frantic, and the controls can feel a bit stiff, which adds to the challenge. Playing it feels like wrestling with the source material's chaotic energy, for better or worse.
