Ribbit King came out on the GameCube in 2003, published by Bandai. It was a strange little sports game from an era when the console had a lot of experimental titles, and it definitely stood out for its sheer weirdness. You don't see many games built entirely around frog golf.

You control a character who whacks frogs with a giant mallet, sending them flying across obstacle-filled courses to land in a target hole. The main objective is to complete each hole in as few strokes as possible, navigating through loops, off ramps, and past hazards like ponds and giant insects. Key mechanics include charging your shot for power, adjusting your angle for tricky bounces, and using special "Super Shots" that can warp your frog directly to the hole. The pacing is relaxed, more about the silly journey than a serious challenge, though some later courses demand precise shots. It feels like a chaotic, lighthearted party game where a disastrous shot is often more fun than a perfect one.
