Ribbit King is one of those weird, wonderful GameCube games that makes zero sense until you play it—then suddenly you're obsessed. The whole thing revolves around "frolf," which is exactly what it sounds like: frog golf. You whack these little frogs with a mallet, trying to land them in targets, and somehow it's way more addictive than it has any right to be.

The courses are ridiculous—think floating islands, giant mushrooms, and waterfalls—and each frog has its own weird physics. Some flop around like they’ve given up on life, others soar way too far. There’s a story mode with goofy characters, but honestly, I just kept replaying levels to see how badly I could mess up a perfect shot.

It’s the kind of game where you’ll yell at the screen because your frog bounced off a tree and landed in a pond, then immediately demand a rematch. If you like games that don’t take themselves seriously, this one’s a hidden gem.
