Game Overview

Road Fighter is this old-school NES racing game from Konami where you're basically flooring it down highways while dodging traffic. The cars feel a little stiff by today's standards, but there's something weirdly satisfying about weaving between trucks and watching your fuel gauge slowly drain. You'll hit nitro boosts, take shortcuts through desert roads, and occasionally spin out in the dumbest ways possible. It's simple, kinda janky, and honestly more fun than it has any right to be.

First time I played, I kept crashing into oil slicks because I didn't realize you could actually steer through them. The music's this repetitive synth loop that somehow never gets old. Definitely a product of its time, but if you like arcade racers where the only goal is "go fast and don't die," it's a solid pick.
