Game Overview

Robinson's Requiem came out in 1994 for MS-DOS, developed by Silmarils. It was part of that wave of ambitious, simulation-heavy games from the era that tried to push beyond simple action or adventure. You don't just play a hero; you manage a survivor.

You control a crash-landed astronaut on a hostile alien world. Your main objective is pure survival, finding a way off the planet while battling the environment itself. The game forces you to monitor your character's health in extreme detail, dealing with infections, broken bones, and starvation. Exploration is methodical and perilous, often screen by screen, as you craft tools, hunt for food, and solve environmental puzzles. The pacing is slow and deliberate, the difficulty unforgiving; a single misstep can lead to a long, agonizing death. It feels less like playing a game and more like desperately trying to stay alive.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
