You control RoboCop through side-scrolling levels, moving methodically from left to right while blasting an endless supply of Terminator drones with your trusty Auto-9 pistol. Your main goal is to survive each stage, eventually confronting larger mechanical foes and the iconic T-800 itself. The game relies on straightforward run-and-gun action, with occasional platforming and the ability to pick up secondary weapons like a grenade launcher for tougher enemies. The pacing is deliberate, almost slow, which contrasts with the sheer number of enemies thrown at you, making careful positioning more important than reflexes. It feels like a grind at times, but there’s a certain satisfaction in holding your ground against the mechanical onslaught.
