Ever wanted to see RoboCop and the Terminator throw down in a pixelated bloodbath? This SNES gem actually makes it happen—and it’s way better than it has any right to be. You mostly play as RoboCop, stomping through a wrecked Detroit while Skynet’s killer bots swarm you, but the twist is that you can also hijack a Terminator later and turn its own guns against its metal buddies. Feels like cheating, in the best way.

The action’s heavy—literally. RoboCop moves like a tank, but when you start unloading with the grenade launcher or that ridiculous flamethrower, it clicks. The levels are packed with little nods to both movies, like ED-209 lurking in the background or those creepy endoskeletons skittering around. It’s tough, but not cheap—just the right kind of ’90s hard where you’ll retry a stage five times and still have fun. If you miss when licensed games actually tried, this one’s a blast.
