Game Overview

Rockman EXE Battlechip GP (or Megaman Battle Chip Challenge if you're not playing the Japanese version) is a weird little spin-off from the usual EXE formula. Instead of running around the net battling viruses directly, you're mostly building chip decks and watching fights play out automatically—kinda like a card battler but with that classic Battle Network flavor.

You’ll recognize all the usual suspects—Netto, Roll, Protoman—but the gameplay’s totally different. Spend way too much time tweaking your folder, then cross your fingers as your AI-controlled Navi tries not to walk into every enemy attack. Early fights feel slow, but once you unlock better chips and combos, it gets surprisingly tactical. Just don’t expect the same energy as the mainline games.

Honestly? It’s a niche pick. But if you ever wanted to theorycraft Mega Man decks without the twitchy combat, this is your weird little playground.
