Play Rocky (U)(Venom) Online
Dodge, weave, and throw pixelated punches as Rocky—start in dingy gyms, eat Apollo Creed’s jabs, and pray Clubber Lang doesn’t flatten you. That moment when your last uppercut lands as your stamina dies? Chef’s kiss.

I picked up Rocky for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002, a portable take on the boxer's story published by Ubisoft. It was one of those licensed titles that felt right at home on the GBA, offering a quick, straightforward sports experience you could play anywhere without much fuss. The game covers Rocky's career through familiar opponents and locations, sticking to the kind of arcade-style action that worked well on handhelds at the time.
You control Rocky Balboa through a series of boxing matches, working your way up the ranks by defeating opponents like Apollo Creed and Clubber Lang. The gameplay revolves around throwing jabs, hooks, and uppercuts while managing your stamina and blocking incoming punches. Fights play out in real time, and you need to watch your opponent's patterns, dodge when you can, and strike when they leave an opening. Matches can feel tense, especially later on when one good combo from the other fighter can put you down for the count. It's simple, sometimes unforgiving, but landing that final punch after a back and forth round just feels satisfying.
