Play Roller Coaster Rumbler Online
Design and test wild roller coasters, placing tracks and adjusting angles to keep your ride from derailing while sending tiny carts full of passengers on a chaotic adventure.

Roller Coaster Rumbler came out in 1989 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Imagitec Design. It was one of those early PC titles that tried to capture the fun of building and testing roller coasters, back when simulation games were still finding their footing. The graphics were simple, the controls a bit clunky, but it had a certain charm that made you want to tinker with it for hours.
You play as the designer, placing track pieces one by one to create a complete coaster circuit. The main goal is to build a functional ride that doesn't derail or collapse when tested. Key mechanics include adjusting the steepness and banking of each track segment, then sending a tiny cart full of passengers along your creation to see if it survives. The physics are unpredictable; coasters often buckle or send riders flying through scenery. It's a game of trial and error, with a steep learning curve and plenty of chaotic outcomes. Playing it feels like conducting a slightly dangerous science experiment where failure is often more entertaining than success.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
