Game Overview

Ronaldo V-Football is one of those old-school Game Boy Color soccer games that somehow feels both janky and weirdly charming. You’ve got Ronaldo front and center—because of course you do—and a surprisingly decent roster of 64 international teams for a handheld this old.

The controls take a second to get used to (why does passing feel so stiff?), but once you adjust, there’s something satisfying about the arcade-y simplicity. Slide tackles are borderline OP, and the AI goalkeepers have those classic "what were they thinking?" moments. It’s not FIFA, but for a quick kickabout on the go back in the day, it did the job.

Just don’t expect deep tactics—this is pure, slightly clunky fun with a Brazilian flair.
