Play Save Larisa Online
You're dodging spikes and luring floaty monsters into traps with pixel-perfect jumps—one wrong move and it's back to the start, but you'll keep trying because that last attempt was totally the right path. The CRT glow and bouncy soundtrack make the frustration weirdly cozy.
"Save Larisa" is one of those MS-DOS games you accidentally find in a dusty folder and suddenly it's 2 AM. You're thrown straight into this frantic rescue mission—Larisa's trapped somewhere, and everything from spike pits to weird floating enemies wants to stop you. The controls are simple (arrow keys and one action button, because it's 1993), but the levels? Brutal in that satisfying way where every death feels like your fault.
The pixel art has that warm, slightly blurry look old CRT monitors gave everything, and the chiptune soundtrack somehow makes running from saw blades feel weirdly cheerful. I got stuck on level 3 for ages until I realized you could bait enemies into hitting switches for you. Classic DOS jank, but the good kind.
If you miss games where you actually had to figure things out through trial and error (and occasional yelling at the screen), this is a perfect little time warp. Just keep your fingers ready for some frantic keyboard mashing.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
