Scramble came out in 1981 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a Konami release that landed right in the thick of the early PC gaming era. It was a straightforward port of their arcade hit, a time when games were simple, direct, and often brutally efficient at separating you from your quarters, or in this case, your patience.

You pilot a small ship that automatically scrolls from left to right, and your job is to survive. You have two main actions: a standard shot to destroy enemy fighters and ground turrets, and a bomb button to drop explosives on the fuel depots and bases below. The terrain is unforgiving; scraping the ceiling or the jagged landscape means instant death. The screen keeps pushing you forward, forcing quick decisions under pressure. Running out of fuel is a constant threat, adding a tense resource management layer to the chaos. It feels like a relentless race against the clock where every second of focus counts.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
