Play Scribblenauts (EU)(M6)(OneUp) Online
Type anything into existence—jetpacks, black holes, even Cthulhu—then watch the chaos unfold as you solve puzzles your way. The weirder your ideas, the better it gets.

Scribblenauts came out on the Nintendo DS in 2009, developed by 5th Cell. It was one of those games that really stood out on the system, not because of flashy graphics, but because it did something genuinely different. It felt like a natural fit for the DS, a console that encouraged touch and creativity.
You control a little character named Maxwell, moving him through a series of self-contained puzzle screens. Your main goal is to collect a "Starite" on each level, but the real magic is how you do it. You tap the notepad icon and type in the name of any object you can think of; a ladder, a rope, a lion, a shrink ray. The game generates it right there for you to use. The challenge comes from figuring out what combination of items will overcome the obstacles, whether that means placating an angry bear with honey or building a bridge to cross a gap. The pacing is quick, letting you jump between levels, and the difficulty comes from your own imagination more than punishing mechanics. It feels like having a toybox where every single thing you imagine becomes real.
