SD Gundam - Power Formation Puzzle is one of those weird little SNES gems that flips the usual puzzle game logic on its head. Instead of clearing lines like in Tetris, you're actually trying to keep them from disappearing—which sounds simple until you realize the blocks are these tiny, chibi Gundam units that shuffle around in formation.
At first, I kept reflexively trying to match them like normal blocks, but nope—the game punishes you for that. The trick is to balance the formations so they don’t complete a full line. It’s oddly satisfying once you get the hang of it, especially with the goofy SD Gundam sprites cheering or panicking in the background. Definitely a fun twist if you’re tired of the usual falling-block grind.
Just don’t expect deep strategy—it’s more of a quirky time-waster than a brain-burner.
