Secret Agent Clank is one of those weird, fun spinoffs where Clank finally gets to be the star—and he goes full James Bond. Ratchet’s locked up (for once), so Clank slips into a tuxedo and starts sneaking through casinos, hacking terminals, and even doing these ridiculous rhythm-game dance sequences to avoid lasers. Meanwhile, Ratchet’s stuck in prison brawling with every thug he ever arrested, which honestly feels like karma.
Then there’s Qwark, who keeps butting in with his delusional retellings of events—playing as him is like a parody of bad action games, complete with hilariously exaggerated boss fights. The whole thing’s a mess of spy tropes, dumb jokes, and surprisingly varied gameplay. It shouldn’t work, but it’s got this goofy charm that makes it hard to put down.
