Game Overview
Secret Agent Clank flips the usual Ratchet & Clank formula by putting Clank in the spotlight—and honestly, he nails it. Ratchet’s locked up (for once), so Clank steps into a suave spy role, complete with stealth takedowns, gadget-heavy missions, and even some ridiculous rhythm-game segments where he dances through laser grids. It’s way more fun than it sounds.
Meanwhile, Ratchet brawls his way through prison fights against old enemies, and Captain Qwark… well, he’s Qwark. His levels are these over-the-top retellings of events where he’s obviously lying (think giant robots that definitely weren’t there the first time). The gameplay switches between all three, keeping things from getting stale—Clank’s sneaky sections feel totally different from Ratchet’s chaotic shootouts or Qwark’s absurd boss fights.
It’s got that classic Ratchet & Clank humor, too. Qwark stealing credit for Clank’s work never gets old, and the spy-movie parody stuff is spot-on. If you’ve got a PSP lying around, this one’s a solid pick for some silly, varied action.
