Download Shadow Fighter (AGA)_Disk4 ROM – Amiga Game
1994 Amiga fighting game. Features arcade combat, multiple fighters with unique moves, urban environments, two-player versus mode, and hidden characters. AGA-enhanced graphics.
Game Overview
Shadow Fighter came out for the Amiga in 1994, developed by Digital Illusions. It was one of those later Amiga fighting games that tried to push the hardware a little further with AGA graphics, offering more detailed sprites and richer colors than many of its predecessors. It arrived at a time when the Amiga was still holding its own against consoles, especially for players who wanted a solid arcade style experience at home without the need for a dedicated machine.
You pick a fighter from a small roster, each with their own special moves and combos, and battle through a series of urban themed stages. The main goal is to defeat every opponent in one-on-one fights, leading up to a final boss. Signature mechanics include pulling off special moves with precise joystick motions, a two-player versus mode for competitive matches, and the ability to unlock hidden characters by meeting certain conditions. The pacing is fairly quick, with rounds that don’t drag on, though the difficulty can spike sharply against some of the later opponents. It feels responsive and immediate, like a decent arcade port that captures the energy of button mashing with friends.
