Shrek’s back, and this time he’s stuck trying to find a new king for Far Far Away—because, let’s be honest, he’d rather be napping in his swamp. The DS version of Shrek The Third throws you into a mix of brawling, mini-games, and some light puzzle-solving, all wrapped in that same goofy humor from the movies.
You’ll switch between Shrek, Donkey, Puss, and a few others, each with their own moves (Puss’s sword swipes are way more satisfying than they should be). The levels are short and simple, perfect for quick plays, though some of the touch-screen stuff feels a little tacked on. Still, if you’re looking for something silly to kill time with, it’s got that Shrek charm—just don’t expect anything groundbreaking.
