Play SimTower Online
You stack floors like a mad architect, tweaking elevator routes while watching tiny tenants lose their minds over slow service—until Santa casually floats by your 50th-floor offices.

SimTower came out in 1995 for MS-DOS, developed by Maxis Software Inc. It was part of that wave of simulation games where you managed complex systems, and it stood out for its vertical focus. You didn't build outward; you built upward, floor by floor, in a tight urban space.
You control the development of a high-rise tower, placing offices, hotels, condos, and retail spaces across multiple floors. The main objective is to attract tenants, keep them happy, and expand your tower to a five-star rating. Key mechanics include managing elevator traffic to reduce congestion, responding to emergencies like fires, and balancing the needs of different resident types. The pacing is slow and deliberate, with problems compounding quickly if you expand too fast. It feels like conducting a chaotic, vertical symphony where every decision ripples through the whole building.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
