Snatcher came to the Sega Saturn in 1996, a port of an earlier Konami adventure that felt right at home on a system known for deep, narrative experiences. You play as Gillian Seed, an investigator in a rain-slicked neo-Kobe, piecing together clues from crime scenes and conversations. The core of the game is methodical, screen-by-screen exploration, using a cursor to examine every detail and interrogate witnesses for inconsistencies. Periodically, the investigation erupts into a first-person shooting gallery, where you have to quickly target rogue bio-roboids before they fire.
