So I finally got around to playing Sonic Pinball Party (J) on GBA, and it's... well, it's pinball with Sonic characters. The tables are flashy, with Nights and Samba de Amigo themes mixed in, which is a weird but fun combo. You start off in Casinopolis with that classic "Eggman stole the animals" setup, but really it's just an excuse to bounce the ball around.
The physics feel a little floaty compared to real pinball, but once you get used to it, the tables have some clever gimmicks. The Chao Garden is a nice touch if you're into that, though it's mostly just a side thing. The casino games are okay, but I kept going back to the pinball.
It's not deep, but Sonic Pinball Party (J) is a decent time-waster if you like arcadey pinball with a Sonic coat of paint.
