Remember those old Flash games that were simple but weirdly addicting? Sonic Racer is exactly that—Sonic on a skateboard, bombing down a street full of ramps, traffic cones, and who knows what else. You’ve got one minute to grab as many rings as possible while dodging everything trying to knock you off your board. The controls are janky in that classic Flash way, but once you get the hang of it, pulling off a last-second dodge feels way more satisfying than it should.
First time I played, I wiped out immediately because I didn’t realize the jumps had weird physics. But after a couple tries, I was leaning into turns and timing slides like some kind of blue hedgehog skate god. The timer’s brutal though—just when you’re getting into the flow, it’s over. Makes you wanna hit replay immediately.
