The sprite work is surprisingly good—whoever made this clearly spent way too much time getting the cat animations just right. It still feels like Sonic, just... furrier. And maybe a bit more chaotic. I kept trying to spin dash out of habit before remembering I had claws now.
If you've played a million Sonic ROM hacks before, this one stands out just for how stupidly charming it is. If you haven't? Well, you're in for a weirdly polished nostalgia trip with extra meowing. The cat even does a little stretch when you idle too long. No regrets.
