South Park for the Nintendo 64 came out in 1998, published by Acclaim Entertainment. You control one of the four main kids, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, or Cartman, as you run around familiar locations from the show, like the school or the streets of South Park. Your main goal is to fight off an invasion of turkeys, aliens, and other bizarre enemies using weapons like snowballs, cow launchers, and pee-filled water balloons. The game is structured level by level, with some light exploration and key hunting to progress. The pacing is uneven, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly, but the sheer absurdity of the action keeps you going. It feels chaotic and rough around the edges, but there's a strange charm in its commitment to being as silly as the source material.
