Spider-Man: Edge of Time for the Nintendo DS came out in 2011, developed by Beenox. It was part of that wave of handheld tie-ins to bigger console games, trying to capture the feel of its bigger sibling on a smaller screen. You get a portable story about two Spider-Men, Amazing and 2099, trying to fix a broken timeline.

You control both Spider-Men, switching between them to solve puzzles and fight through corridors. The main goal is to stop the collapse of reality by altering events in the past to affect the future. You use the touch screen for quick-time web attacks and gestures to dodge, while platforming involves a lot of wall-crawling and targeted web-swinging in contained areas. The pacing is fairly direct, moving you from one combat or puzzle room to the next without much open exploration. It feels like a condensed, action-focused puzzle box where every solved room brings the two timelines a little closer to stability.
