Game Overview
Spiritual Warfare is basically Zelda but with a heavy Christian twist—you play as this dude named Christian (subtle, right?) running around slinging Bible verses like holy grenades. Instead of rupees, you collect fruit of the Spirit, and your sword is replaced with the "Armor of God," which sounds way cooler than it looks.
At first, I thought the whole "convert enemies by praying at them" mechanic would feel gimmicky, but it’s weirdly satisfying when a demon just poofs into a friendly NPC. The dungeons are full of those classic top-down puzzles, though some of the enemy placements feel downright unfair—like, who puts a boss behind three instant-death pits?
It’s janky in that early '90s way, but if you can get past the preachiness, there’s a decent adventure here. Just don’t expect Ganon at the end—Satan’s the final boss, and he’s got one heck of a health bar.
