Play Spiritual Warfare on nes Online
Zelda meets Bible study—fight demons in a modern city, answer trivia to summon angels, and eventually throw hands with Satan himself. NES weirdness at its finest.

Spiritual Warfare came out in 1992 for the NES, developed by Wisdom Tree, a company known for its religious-themed games. It arrived late in the console's life, a time when many players were already moving on to 16-bit systems, but it found a niche by blending faith and adventure in a way no other cartridge really attempted.
You control a character who explores a top-down world screen by screen, fighting demons and false prophets by throwing fruit of the spirit as projectiles. The main goal is to collect the armor of God pieces scattered across the map, which involves solving light puzzles and answering Bible trivia questions to receive help or open new paths. The pacing is deliberate, with combat that feels simple but requires careful positioning, and the difficulty comes more from navigation and remembering scripture than from reflexes. It feels like a strange, earnest hybrid where your success depends just as much on your knowledge as your timing.
