Game Overview

So you're Henry Stanley, a 19th-century journalist chasing after the famously press-shy Dr. Livingston through the Congo jungle. The guy straight-up ghosted you (rude), leaving behind cryptic notes about some lost temple called Am-Zutuk. Now you're bushwhacking through a hundred different areas, half of which seem to be dead ends or home to very angry wildlife.

The first thing that struck me? The world feels huge for an NES game. One minute you're platforming past snakes and tribal warriors (blowpipe guys are the worst), the next you're in a village trying to piece together clues from locals who clearly know more than they're saying. Found a spear early on that saved my life about twelve times.

Weirdly immersive once you get into it - you really feel like some Victorian explorer scribbling notes while dodging hippos. Just don't expect anyone to thank you for your journalism.
