Your main goal involves investigating a mysterious plague and eventually traveling to other worlds to find a cure. Two standout mechanics are the skill system, which lets characters learn crafting, cooking, or combat talents, and private actions, where talking to party members in towns can alter relationships and change the story. The pacing is brisk for an RPG of its era, though some dungeons feel long and enemy difficulty can spike unexpectedly.
