Game Overview
StarFox Command on the DS is one of those games that feels like a weird but fun experiment. You're still flying Arwings and blasting enemies, but now you draw flight paths on the touchscreen before each mission—kinda like a space strategy game mixed with classic StarFox action. The first time I played, I accidentally sent Fox straight into an asteroid, so maybe don't rush the planning phase.
It's got that classic StarFox banter between missions, and the dogfights actually work surprisingly well with the DS controls. Some of the branching story paths are hit or miss, but I kept replaying just to see how different choices played out. The whole thing feels like a scrappy little cousin to the big console StarFox games—flawed, but in a way that makes it oddly charming.
