Game Overview

Stargoose Warrior is one of those MS-DOS games that makes you do a double-take—wait, am I really playing as a spacefaring goose with a laser cannon? Yep, and it’s every bit as ridiculous and fun as it sounds. The first few minutes are pure chaos: dodging neon-colored asteroids, weaving through swarms of alien ships, and trying not to laugh when your goose lets out an indignant "HONK" after taking a hit.

The controls are straightforward (arrow keys to move, space to shoot—classic DOS simplicity), but the screen fills up fast with enemies and obstacles. I kept crashing into asteroids at first, convinced the hitboxes were unfair—turns out I just needed to get used to the goose’s weirdly wide wingspan. The pixel art has this charming, slightly deranged energy, like someone mashed up Galaga with a children’s cartoon about birds in space.

It’s short, it’s silly, and it’s the kind of game you’ll restart immediately after your first death just to beat your high score. If you’ve ever wanted to pretend a waterfowl could save the galaxy, this is your chance.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
