Game Overview
Street Fighter 2010 [hFFE] (J) is a weird little NES action-platformer where you play as a cyber-enhanced fighter jumping between planets. It's not like the usual Street Fighter games—more about shooting aliens while doing backflips off walls.
The controls take some getting used to. You’ve got this floaty jump and a charge shot that feels just slightly delayed, so enemies often hit you mid-animation. The levels throw these cramped corridors at you, forcing awkward fights where dodging is harder than it should be.
But there’s something oddly satisfying about chaining wall kicks and landing a fully charged blast on a boss. The soundtrack’s got that gritty late-NES synth vibe, too. Just don’t expect anything close to the arcade brawler the title might suggest.
