Game Overview

Street Fighter Alpha 3 (Quartex) (EU) on GBA is one of those rare fighting games that actually works on a handheld. The first thing you notice is how smooth the animations are, especially for a Game Boy Advance title. Chun-Li's lightning legs and Ryu's fireballs feel surprisingly crisp.

What stands out is the sheer number of fighters packed in here. More than 30, including some oddball picks you wouldn't expect. The three different fighting styles (A-ism, X-ism, V-ism) give it some depth, though the GBA's limited buttons take getting used to.

Survival mode is brutal but addictive, and the pixel art holds up well. The music's compressed, but you still get that classic Street Fighter energy. It's impressive how much they squeezed into a tiny cartridge.

If you're into fighters and still have a GBA around, Street Fighter Alpha 3 (Quartex) (EU) is worth digging up.
