Play Supaplex Online
Navigate levels as Murphy, collect Infotrons, push disks, avoid enemies, and solve puzzles in this classic MS-DOS gem from 1991.
Supaplex came out in 1991 for MS-DOS, developed by Think!Ware Development. It was one of those games that felt right at home on the platform, with its grid-based puzzles and simple graphics that didn't need a lot of horsepower. It was a time when puzzle games were often about clever design rather than flashy effects, and Supaplex fit right into that era.
You control a round character named Murphy, navigating through a series of single-screen levels. Your main goal is to collect all the Infotrons on each stage while avoiding enemies and environmental hazards. The core mechanics involve pushing and destroying colorful disks, which can either clear a path or cause chain reactions if you're not careful. You also need to manage falling rocks and avoid being crushed or cornered by enemies called Snik Snaks. The pacing is methodical, but the difficulty ramps up quickly, demanding precise timing and forward planning. It feels tense and satisfying when you barely escape a collapsing section you just triggered yourself.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
