Game Overview
Supaplex is like Boulder Dash but cranked up to eleven—better graphics, way more explosives, and some seriously devious puzzles. You play as this little dude named Murphy (basically a smiley face with legs) pushing rocks and dodging enemies, except half the stuff you interact with is shaped like floppy disks that’ll blow you to bits if you’re not careful. Orange ones explode when they land wrong, yellow ones roll wherever you push them until they detonate, and red ones are basically ticking time bombs you can carry around. Fun times.
The physics are weird in the best way—things don’t just snap to the grid, so you can pull off janky moves like bouncing enemies off yourself by spinning at the right moment. The original 111 levels are brutal, but the real meat is in the fan-made level packs that turn the game into a masochistic logic puzzle. You can skip a few if you’re stuck, but good luck coming back later when you’ve run out of skips. It’s the kind of game where you’ll fail the same screen 20 times, then suddenly everything clicks and you feel like a genius for half a second before the next level destroys you.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
