Game Overview
Space Megaforce (or Super Aleste if you're in Europe/Japan) is one of those classic SNES shooters where you're just blasting through waves of enemies non-stop. Right off the bat, you pick from eight weapons—some feel way better than others, and I definitely stuck with the spread shot most runs. The screen's always packed with bullets and explosions, but it never gets too unfair.
What I like is how the stages mix up the scenery—you're not just in space the whole time, which keeps it from feeling samey. The music's got that perfect early 90s techno vibe too. It's not the deepest shooter out there, but sometimes you just want to hold down fire and watch everything blow up.
If you're into the genre, this one's a solid time capsule from the SNES era.
