Super Arabian is a 1985 NES release from Sunsoft, a company that put out a number of interesting, if sometimes obscure, titles for the platform. It arrived during that early period when developers were still experimenting with what the console could do, often resulting in games that felt more like arcade ports than expansive adventures.

You control a character who jumps between the blocks of a pyramid, one step at a time, trying to clear each level by touching every block. The main threats are fireballs that bounce around the screen and various enemies that crawl along the edges. Your only defense is a limited-use bow that shoots arrows to temporarily stun these foes. The pace is frantic, almost chaotic, because the pyramid itself starts to collapse if you take too long, forcing you to move quickly under pressure. It feels like a race against a timer where one wrong move sends you back to the beginning.
