Super Bombliss is Tetris if someone handed you a match and said "good luck." You're still stacking blocks, but now you're also strategically planting bombs to blow them up—which sounds simple until you're sweating over whether to sacrifice a row now or risk waiting for a bigger combo. The SNES version looks way cleaner than the Game Boy original, and those little explosion animations never get old.
At first, I kept treating it like regular Tetris and just barely scraped by, but once you start timing those chain reactions right, it clicks. The music speeds up when things get dire, and yeah, you will yell at the screen when a badly placed bomb leaves a single block floating. It's the kind of game where "one more try" turns into twenty.
If you like puzzles but wish they came with more firepower, this one's a blast (literally).
