Super Fighter is one of those old-school MS-DOS brawlers that somehow sticks with you. You pick from eight fighters—each with their own weirdly specific martial arts style—and then punch your way through a drug cartel’s goons. Yeah, the story’s over-the-top, but that’s half the fun.
What I like is how different each character feels. One throws fireballs, another does this ridiculous spinning kick that somehow works way too often. The cartel bosses at the end? Brutal. You’ll probably lose a few times before figuring out their patterns, but that’s the charm of these old arcade-style games.
It’s not Street Fighter, but there’s something satisfying about the janky animations and the way the special moves actually require decent timing. If you’ve got a soft spot for retro fighters, this one’s worth a few rounds.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
