Super Peach (SMB1 Hack) is exactly what it sounds like—a classic Mario romhack where you play as Peach instead. Same old NES platforming, but with a fresh coat of paint.

At first, it feels familiar—running, jumping, stomping goombas—but then you notice the small changes. The levels are tweaked just enough to make you second-guess muscle memory. Some jumps are tighter, some pipes lead to surprises. It’s not a full overhaul, but it’s enough to keep you on your toes.

Peach controls like Mario, which is fine, though part of me wished she had her own moveset. Still, seeing her sprite in place of Mario’s gives the game a weirdly charming vibe. Like an alternate universe where she was the hero all along.
