Super Scribblenauts came out for the Nintendo DS in 2010, developed by 5th Cell. It was one of those games that felt perfectly suited to the handheld, arriving late in the system's life when creative, touchscreen-focused titles were really showing what the hardware could do.
You control Maxwell, a boy in a starry shirt, and your main goal is to collect Starites by solving puzzles across dozens of self-contained levels. The core mechanic is typing any object you can imagine into a notebook; the game creates it instantly, and you use these spawned items to interact with the environment and characters. You might write "wings" to help a cat fly, or "glue" to stick a broken ladder back together. The puzzles encourage experimentation, and the difficulty comes from thinking of the right word, not from tricky platforming. It feels like having a toybox where every toy is just a few keystrokes away.
