Super Stardust (AGA) Disk1 came out for the Amiga in 1994, developed by Bloodhouse and published by Team17. You pilot a small ship locked in orbit around a planet, defending it from waves of asteroids and enemy craft. Your main goal is to survive as long as possible while racking up a high score. The ship is equipped with two primary weapons: a rapid-fire laser for precise targeting and a wider, crushing beam for clearing dense rock formations. You constantly rotate around the planet, firing in any direction as debris and foes pour in from all sides. The pacing is relentless; you’re always moving, always shooting, with barely a moment to rest between enemy waves. It feels frantic and demanding, but deeply satisfying when you slip through a narrow gap or wipe the screen clean with a well-timed blast.
