Play Supernova Online
You're in a boxy pixel spaceship, weaving through neon bullets and asteroids—simple controls, pure chaos, and that crunchy '90s synth blasting in the background.

Supernova was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, though it didn't originate from a major developer or publisher that I recall. It was one of those space shooters that felt right at home on a 286 or 386, running from a floppy disk with a command line prompt. The graphics were functional, the sound was basic, but it captured that early PC gaming spirit where imagination filled in the technical gaps.
You pilot a small ship, navigating through waves of enemy crafts and dodging their patterned fire. The main goal is survival; you blast everything in sight, collect power-ups for better weapons or shields, and try to reach the end of each stage. The mechanics are straightforward: screen by screen progression, memorizing attack patterns, and managing your limited resources. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty spikes quickly, demanding sharp reflexes and patience. It feels like a tense, focused battle against overwhelming odds, where every small victory matters.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
