Boss fights pop up every couple of stages, and finishing a level gets you a password (because, you know, the '90s). It's punishing, but in that way where you keep telling yourself "one more try" at 2 AM.

Honestly, the overheating gun mechanic is what makes it stand out—spray bullets recklessly and you’ll be stuck waiting for it to cool down while some armored goon charges at you.
