You boot up Sword_Disk4 on the Amiga, and right away you're hit with that classic pixel-art fantasy vibe—think dark castles, flickering torches, and a hero who looks like they’ve seen one too many battles. The controls are simple but tight: move with the joystick, swing your sword with a button press, and try not to get swarmed by skeletons in the first dungeon.

What I love is how the game doesn’t hold your hand. You’ll stumble into hidden rooms, accidentally trigger traps, and maybe—if you’re lucky—find a slightly better sword tucked behind a suspicious-looking wall. The chiptune soundtrack nails the atmosphere, all ominous dungeon crawls and triumphant fanfares when you finally beat a boss.

It’s got that old-school challenge where every hit matters, and you’ll probably die a lot before figuring out enemy patterns. But when you do, pulling off a perfect run feels amazing. Just don’t expect any autosaves.
