Game Overview

Konami's Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles came to the Amiga in 1990, a time when the platform was home to many arcade-style adaptations. It was a straightforward port of the coin-op, offering the same frantic action and colorful visuals that fans of the arcade would recognize.

You control one of the four turtles, each with their own weapon, and fight through waves of Foot Clan ninjas across city streets and sewers. The goal is to rescue April O'Neil by clearing each side-scrolling stage and defeating bosses like Bebop and Rocksteady. Combat is simple but satisfying, with basic attacks and a special move that damages all on-screen enemies at the cost of some health. The game moves quickly and can be quite tough, especially when dealing with swarms of enemies or precise platforming sections. Playing it feels like a genuine slice of late 80s arcade chaos, best enjoyed with a friend in two-player mode.
