Remember dumping quarters into the TMNT arcade cabinet as a kid? This Amiga port of Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles - The Coin-op! nails that chaotic beat-em-up energy. You pick your turtle (Leo’s always been my go-to), then smash through waves of Foot Clan goons with pizza-powered combos. The sprites are chunky in that perfect late-80s way, and that soundtrack—oh man, those synth basslines still slap.
It’s not perfect—the Amiga’s two-button joystick means you’re constantly juggling jump and attack—but there’s something magical about seeing all four turtles on screen at once, even if the frame rate chugs when things get wild. Best played with a friend shouting over your shoulder about which sewer path to take next.
