Play Tenchi wo Kurau (Japan) Online
Pick a warrior, dive into Three Kingdoms chaos—suplexing dudes, riding horses through crowds, and barely surviving screen-filling brawls where every punch feels weighty. Guan Yu’s beard alone is worth the struggle.

Game Overview
Tenchi wo Kurau is one of those NES brawlers that feels like it should’ve been in arcades—fast, chaotic, and packed with enemies who really don’t want you to win. You pick from four warriors (Guan Yu’s my go-to, mostly because his beard is majestic) and dive straight into a Three Kingdoms-themed slugfest. The combat’s simple at first—punch, kick, repeat—but then you realize you can suplex guys, ride horses through crowds, and even unleash screen-clearing specials when things get desperate.
The pixel art’s got this rough, energetic charm—enemies crumple dramatically when you knock them out, and the bosses are these hulking brutes that take up half the screen. It’s not an easy game, though. You’ll get swarmed fast if you just button-mash, so timing your dodges and grapples actually matters. If you’ve ever wished Double Dragon had more historical drama and way more dudes to punch, this is your game.
