Game Overview

Played Tennis (EU) on NES for a bit—it's exactly what it sounds like, a straightforward tennis sim. You pick a difficulty, and the AI ranges from barely moving to actually returning shots with some strategy.

The controls are simple—A for low shots, B for high ones—but timing matters more than you'd think. Get too close to the net, and the computer will lob it right over you. The two-player mode is where it shines, though. Matches get tense when both players figure out how to angle shots just right.

It's not flashy, but it's solid for what it is. The ball physics feel a little stiff now, but back then, it was probably the closest thing to real tennis you could get on a console.
