Game Overview

Oh man, Tensai Bakabon is one of those weird little Sega Master System gems that never made it out of Japan. It's based on this goofy manga about a totally clueless family, and the game nails that same chaotic energy. You're basically stumbling through these ridiculous scenarios—one minute you're trying to catch a runaway pig, the next you're getting chased by a giant octopus. The pixel art has that perfect 80s charm, all bright colors and exaggerated expressions.

Controls are simple, but half the fun is figuring out what absurd thing will happen next. Some of the jokes probably hit better if you know the manga, but even without that, it's hard not to laugh when your character just faceplants for no reason. Definitely one of the quirkier titles in the Master System library. If you're into obscure retro stuff with personality, this one's a trip.
